The Graduation Ceremony of awarding certificates to graduates of the training program SME executive education program took place in Nazarbayev University. Graduates of the eight-month program were 210 entrepreneurs from all regions of Kazakhstan. The program is designed by Nazarbayev University Graduate School of Business in partnership with Duke Corporate Education, which is ranked #1 in the world to provide corporate training programs.

Nazarbayev University delivers this program for the second year. Top managers of small and medium-sized businesses are learning to implement new models of building, and develop skills for effective management of operating businesses and solve strategic and tactical business objectives. The program includes 3-day sessions, where students learn the basics of business models, as well as online seminars with the participation of Kazakhstan experts, during which participants learn about the experience of some successful businesses and the methods of raising capital. At the end of the program, students pitch their own version of a successful business plan. The program is a part of the state program "Business Road Map-2020". The client of this training program is the Committee on Entrepreneurship Development of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade.

The program aims to strengthen the entrepreneurial potential and spirit in the country. Nazarbayev University sincerely hope that the leaders of the various companies in Kazakhstan will benefit to apply the knowledge skills to develop their own business. Moreover, due to the popularity of the training program, the number of students is doubled for the next year.
In addition to the graduates and staff of the University Nazarbayev Graduate School of Business, the participants of the Ceremony were the representatives of the Committee on Entrepreneurship Development, Duke Corporate Education and "Damu" fund.
