The School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SHSS) programs are designed to train leaders in all aspects of social development to have versatile knowledge in the field of social, liberal and natural sciences. SHSS teaches its students to solve intellectual challenges they may encounter in their life and career regardless of their career choice. SHSS holds the largest number of seminars on the most important issues, open to the public. SHSS offers MA in Eurasian Studies and MA in Political Science and International Relations.
The School of Humanities and Social Sciences is one of the University’s largest Schools offering degree programs and concentrations in seven different subject areas spanning the breadth of a liberal arts education. Based on our strategic partnership with the University of Wisconsin-Madison, the School continues to expand its intellectual scope. School draws upon talent of a faculty dedicated to excellence in research and teaching. School is guided by the University’s mission to develop the social capital of Kazakhstan in order to assist in the development of the country.
