Creating an e-mail action to notify users, groups, or both

An e-mail action sends an e-mail to a set of users or groups.

To create an e-mail action, go to Applications > Content > Web Content Management and then click New > Workflow Actions > E-mail Action.
  1. Defining identification details for the e-mail action
    Specify identification information for the e-mail action, including the name, title and description of the e-mail action.
  2. Specify a location for the e-mail action
    When creating a e-mail action you can specify the location of the e-mail action.
  3. Creating an e-mail action
    Define the action properties of the e-mail action.
  4. Define additional e-mail action properties
    Specify properties for the e-mail action, including the list of authors and owners associated with the e-mail action.
  5. Defining e-mail action access settings
    Specify the access control settings for the e-mail action to determine which users have access to the e-mail action and their level of access.
